Research On The Risk Of The Port Enterprise Supply Chain

The idea of supply chain management was originated from the manufacturing and soon gained popularization in the manufacturing, thus making its theory development gradually improved and deepened. In this trend, supply chain management theory was applied into the management practice by foreign mature port, and obtained good momentum in its development. However, because of the anfractuosities of structure, instability of environment, managers pursuing lean supply chain and neglecting risk management, and so on, supply chain is having been more and more subject to affected by all kinds of risks. Once some certain risk really happens, it will cause huge damage and incalculable loss, even thorough disruption of supply chain. Under such circumstances, this paper studies some theories about port enterprise supply chain risk management. Effective risk management of port enterprise supply chain can make it more flexibility, and avoid or reduce the loss that risks bring. So, supply chain risk management is very important for the port enterprise management.This paper firstly presents the background of the research and analyses the necessity of it. Then it introduces the basic theory of port enterprise supply chain management and risk of port enterprise supply chain. The differences and relations between common supply chain and port enterprise supply chain are analyzed and definition of port enterprise supply chain risk is given. Then the characteristics of port enterprise supply chain risk and the content of supply chain risk management are analyzed. By using Delphi method, the major risk factors of the port enterprise supply chain are identified from three facets. The paper puts emphasis on the application of BP artificial neural net work model to evaluate the port enterprise supply chain risk. Then it studies on the risk handling and risk precaution. Finally, to a simple port enterprise supply chain as an example, the paper analyzes the feasibility of the theories, method and models using relevant knowledge of the former several sections.
