A Study On HDS's Enterprise Culture Construction

The corporate culture is the management culture which takes the enterprise values as the core. Since corporate culture has risen from 1980', academic circles at home and abroad, especially business circles, has got substantial result from investigating,exploring and practising into the corporate culture.To meet the requirments of new situation and new task, electric power enterprise of our country setted a high value on enterprise culture construction, established a new administration idea of "people-centred". At last, the electric power enterprise formed its own characteristic in the enterprise culture construction. Taking "华电集团" (be called HDS for short) as representative, a lot of our country electric power enterprise union takes effective measures, has applied corporate culture theory to practice , has created a lot of new experience , and has promoted development of enterprise. But for many reasons, there are some questions exist in the enterprise culture construction can't be ignored. The culture construction pressing needs to enhance theory reach and improves the practice working.HDS is one of the top enterprises in electric power enterprises. In recent years it summarizes its culture as "for home, for enterprise, for country" to compromise with the actual development. It has been well developed in practice and has got good result. However, with the new situation in practice and theory which include the problems existing either in electric power enterprise or in HDS itself, it is very important to study farther about HDS current culture and analyze the main problem deeply so as to make proposals for corrective actions and models to develop the healthy culture within the company.In the new situation, HDS continues to maintain the national power generation business-class level while move forward into international business-class thermal power. We must further strengthen the building of enterprise culture and boldly learn from foreign advanced corporate culture and mode of construction experience, combined with the actual business.To build their own corporate culture and objectives of the model system, to enhance integration, promote training and improve the mechanism for the implementation of measures to promote enterprise culture to a higher level of development, and pormotes the enterprise management and efficiency in a comprehensive manner.
