Modern logistics management is regarded as the world's "third profit revolution," and has received increasing attention by more and more global businesses, governments and the society. Currently, China's modern logistics is still relatively backward from all aspects including infrastructure, management, cost control, concepts, methods and theoretical research. Haier Group was China's earliest recognizing the importance of establishing a modern logistics system and starting to implement one of the enterprises. Since 2000, H distribution center of Haier logistics company has been established. The business has developed rapidly and the business reached its peak in 2005. From the beginning of 2006 the business has been declined. According to this situation, this paper studys on the development of H distribution center.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part is the case introduction. It introduces H distribution enter from the aspects of business operation of the business, management and incentive pay. The second part is case study, including four parts. First, it is the mode of operation analysis. It includes Self-Logistics and Third-party Logistics of a comparative analysis , the pros and cons of the mode of logistics and distribution analysis of the causes of the problem. Second, it is the business management analysis. While affirming the successful experience in business management at the same time, this paper reveals the main operational management problems and the causes. Lastly, it is the pay incentives analysis. It includs the theory of incentive pay, and incentive pay of the causes of the problem and the negative effects of incentive pay analysis. At the end of the corresponding part of the solution, it proposes countermeasures, including optimizating the operation of the business, improving the business management, and devicing a scientific and humane pay and incentives system.
