Studies On The Status, Problems And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Information Service In China

The information technology has become an important resource of modern Sci-tech Competition now. Using information technology in agricultural field is an important approach for countries all over the world to improve the agricultural competitiveness. Speeding up the process of agricultural information in China has important strategic meaning for our Three Agri-problems and the socialist new-village construction. So how to improve the agricultural information service and the level of the service, and how to resolve the bottleneck problem for improving agriculture benefit in our current rural work.Based on some theories of agricultural information construction, this thesis analyzed the agricultural information service leaded by government. By the method of the standard analysis combined with the positive analysis, this thesis contrasted some successful practice in developed countries such as Occident with the situation of China, and analyzed the status quo of the Chinese agricultural information service. And as we know, the construction of Chinese information service have been strengthened and enhanced, and the field of service is continuously widening and the service team is unceasing strengthening. But in the field of the extent of the agricultural information service network, and the structure of the agricultural resource, and the offering of information to peasant, and the help of boosting up peasant's ability of using agricultural information, there are also many problems such as the weak infrastructure of the agricultural information and its disequilibrium, and people's insufficient understanding to agricultural information, and the delayed integration of information resource, and the low service level of agricultural information, So the author put forward some emphases on the construction of agricultural information service in modern China, which is that the government should play an important role in agricultural information service, and that we should organize an excellent troop of agricultural information service, and that we should improve peasant's ability of the agricultural science and technology by training.
