The Study Of Fujian Energy Consumption And Sustainable Economic Development

Energy is the material fundation of human activities.The development of human society cannot live without superior energy and the application of advanced energy technology. Energy, the basic driving force of the development of the world and economy, is the fundation of human survival. Nowadays, energy development together with energy and environment, which influence the healthy and sustainable development of social economy in our country, is the concern of the whole world. However, Fujian province is short of energy, without oil and natural gas, and short of coal and conventional source of energy; thus energy and environment have become prominent breakthrough for the social and economic development of Fujian province.Therefore, study on Fujian energy consumption and sustainable economic development has remarkable theoretical and practial value.In the perspective of economics, this essay combines theories of Fuel Cycle Economics with Modern Western Economics, beginning with current energy consumption of Fujian province. By commenting on correlated index of energy consumption and economic development, applying to the combination of empirical analysis and nomative analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, static analysis and dynamic analysis, the author proposes strategies and suggestions on how to promote the sustainable development of energy and economy of Fujian province.
