Research On 'Step-by-Step' Tourism Developing Model Of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

With lots of tourists surging to Tibet, the tourism industry of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has been promoted greatly since the Qinghai-Tibet Railway operated. However, high altitude is not only typical characteristic but also the bottleneck of the development of the tourism industry of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. High altitude makes great differences in nature environment, the physiological response of human beings varies with altitude, and different physical environment restricts the development of society and economy, all those lead to great differences in the physiological response of tourists, service quality tourists received and tourism environment capacity in the areas of various altitudes. Therefore, how to travel in the Tibet healthily becomes the urgent problem needed settling at the moment.The article, based on the study of health tourism in plateau, uses theories of plateau acclimatization, health tourism and tourism to make empirical research on Qinghai-Tibet plateau health tourism. As for the model of developing Qinghai-Tibet plateau health tourism, the author adopts "step by step" tourism model of Qinghai-Tibet plateau which was put forward by Liu fenggui in 2006 and reifies it. According to topography trait of Qinghai-Tibet plateau, Yunnan plateau and Qinghai plateau are the finest acclimatization areas, the article analyses thoroughly the specialty of various acclimatization areas and itineraries planning, then designs tourist acclimatization route. The article is divided into three parts as follows:Part I Introducing "step by step" tourism model of Qinghai-Tibet plateau: analyzing the unique tourist environment which impacts on tourists health and the acclimatization and adaptation of tourists to the plateau, puts forward the planning of 'step by step' tourism model of Qinghai-Tibet plateau.Part II is the "step by step" tourism model of Qinghai-Tibet plateau: Introducing relative theories on tourist planning such as tourist anthropology, tourism central places and tourist route planning, separate expatiate tourism acclimatization areas of Qinghai and Yunnan on physical geography, tourist developing status and tourist route and spots accessible for most tourists, then designs the the model in details.Part III makes the conclusion, contrasts the two tourism acclimatization areas of Qinghai and Yunnan, points out the limitations and problems to be further studied.
