Simulation And Optimization Of Serial Production Line Based On WITNESS

With the continuous deepening of economic globalization.especially the continuous development of the Internet,the traditional manufacturing market has been gradually transformed into the production needs of many varieties and small quantities,in order to better adapt to the seller's market to the buyer's market changes,requiring manufacturing industry to respond faster to changes in customer needs.For the textile manufacturing industry,the continuous increase of the number of products and the continuous reduction of product batches,better adapt to the individual customer needs,improving the rapid response ability of the production line has become the focus of the current production line research.In this thesis,through the research and analysis of the existing production lines in Jinlong textile workshop,we first use WITNESS software to simulate the serial production line in the factory.establish production logistics model according to the existing production process,and then take a certain type of sweater production as the main research object,combined with the serial production line,starting from the serial production line capacity,key equipment production load,production cycle,and in-stock products in four aspects,using the simulation model to optimize the production process and optimize the production bottleneck,based on which the principle of scheduling for the emergency order is set up.which provides a solution for the optimization of the production bottleneck,inventory control and scheduling optimization of products,this also provides the impetus for the enterprise to shift from the traditional order production to the multi-type and small-batch individualized production transformation,and has an important reference for the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing enterprises.First of all,this paper introduces the source and purpose of the research project,the current research situation in the field of simulation modeling at home and abroad,the application status of simulation technology in manufacturing line,the basic theory of serial production line and simulation,according to the research needs,this paper mainly introduces the related concepts of serial production line,production scheduling,inventory of finished products and modeling and simulation,as well as the main features of WITNESS simulation software and the operating mechanism of simulation model.Secondly,this paper introduces the basic situation of the research object of this paper Jinlong textile production line,summarizes the characteristics of the production line,and then introduces the specific product features for modeling and simulation,finally introduced basic data collection and statistical process data from two aspects of the layout of production line and production line data.Then this paper introduces the detailed settings of elements,visual settings and shift information settings from the preparation module,flat seam module,washing module and quality control module,after running on the model for a period of time,statistics and analysis the operational results,from the production line production capacity,key equipment production load,production cycle,and product inventory in four areas,to find out the bottleneck of the production process.Finally,we get the working hours data of every process in the production line based on the previous simulation,we optimize the bottleneck process by using the TOC constraint theory and the software's own optimization module,we optimize the bottleneck process by using the theory of TOC and the optimization module that comes with the software.For emergency production scheduling optimization problems,the main use of DBR scheduling theory for analysis.Aiming at the optimization of in-stock products,on the one hand,the inventory of WIP is eliminated through the elimination of bottleneck process;on the other hand,a management scheme of WIP inventory is put forward according to the actual situation of the enterprise.
