Nowadays, under the competition circumstances driven by the diversification and personalization of customer needs, many companies which complement each other in terms of resources in the supply chain have established cooperation partnerships. Supply chain management based on OEM has put more emphasizes on this cooperation partnership and it is accepted by the companies in China. Due to the differences between traditional supply chain, supply chain for mass customization and supply chain based on OEM, the probe into the operational mechanism of the supply chain based on OEM is of special importance. With the setup of incentive mechanism in the supply chain system, which are also two important aspects for coordinating and optimizing the supply chain based on OEM.Based on previous researches, this thesis discusses the issues of operational mechanism and optimization of the supply chain based on OEM with the combination of the research methods for game theory and information economics. Firstly, it gives the research train of thought and its framework by dealing with theories from both home and abroad about the current situation and development of the supply chains and the coordination and optimization under supply chain management circumstances. Secondly, it looks back on the relevant theories of supply chain and supply chain management, and establishes the supply chain model based on OEM by combining OEM and supply chain management. It continues to study and research the supply chain and supply chain management to reveal its fundamental feature from a micro point of view. With that, it offers the theory basis and framework guidance for existing conditions and coordination's for OEM undersupply chain circumstances. Thirdly, on the bases of operational mechanism, it combines qualitative and quantitative methods to re-expound the importance of brand factors in OEM and existing specific conditions for OEM in the supply chain management circumstances. It aims to put forward theoretical preconditions for the coordination and optimization for the supply chain management. Then, it develops a incentive mechanism model for a two-tier supply chain consisting of suppliers and distributors based on Stackelberg game theory in the model of OEM. It also offers optimization scheme with the intention to give practical instructions to the procedure reforms of OEM companies in the supply chain based on OEM. Finally, the ending part concludes the whole research work in this thesis and put forward some issues for further study.
