Auto industry is the mainstay business in Chinese National Economy. Along with the improvement of auto industry, as an important part of auto industry, tire business is developing rapidly too. However, domestic tire manufacturing enterprises are generally lack of managerial technology application experience, and management technology also falls behind. It is an important and urgent problem to introduce Lean Production to domestic tire manufacturing enterprises to improve productivity, and to form core competency in these enterprises.This thesis is divided into five parts. Chapter 1 summarizes the process of generating and improvement of Lean Production. Chapter 2 introduces the principles of Lean Thinking and technology system. It is followed by the analysis on current condition of domestic and foreign tire business from practical aspect in Chapter 3, and introduced the methods of application of Lean Production from five aspects in tire manufacturing enterprises. Chapter 4 presents the condition and problems in BS Company. Taking the application of Value Stream analysis and Standardize KAIZEN technology as examples, the essay expounds the methods of application of Lean Production mentioned above. Chapter 5 summarizes the thesis and introduces the trend of Lean Production in domestic tire business.The author hopes that the analysis will improve the productivity and management when applying Lean Production in domestic tire manufacturing enterprises. |
