In globalization time,competition for talent urges enterprises to attach importance to staff training, which is the key factor enterprises gain the competitive advantages, and also the important function of human resource management. As a kind of human capital investment, training investment's effectiveness is difficult to be measured by the intuitional means. In order to enhance the training effectiveness, many successful enterprises home and abroad widely use the training appraisal method to strengthen the training management. The contents of comprehensive training appraisal should include training demand, training design and development, training implementation process, training effectiveness, which is a systems engineering and needs to use different appraisal tools, and to be considered carefully from each aspect of training.Training Evaluation is the last and vital step in the whole training management process. This thesis begins with the theory of Training Evaluation which includes the methods, models and processes, and so on. It offers a sound theoretical basis to the case introduced in the latter part. Then, the thesis introduces and analysis the status quo of training and training evaluation in S-E Power Plant. Finally, according to the problems existing in training evaluation system of S-E Power Plant, the thesis puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improving training evaluation, specially the innovation measures for training evaluation, which may have some reference to the training evaluation system of S-E Power Plant in future.The thesis has persisted in a dialectical and developmental viewpoint and the combining method of theoretical analysis and case-study approach, and proposes a representative case, which is significant in both theory and practice.
