Influences And Countermeasures Of Green Trade Barriers On Export Trade Of Chinese Agricultural Products

Nowadays,in international trade,agriculture as a vulnerable industry is more affected by green trade barriers(GTBs) because it is one of the most important trade barriers.A green trade barrier is the most major impediment to the export of our agricultural products and severe challenge to China's export of agricultural products. It is great practical signification that how to break through the limitations of foreign agricultural products green barriers which restrict China's primary products and promote sustainable development of our agricultural products trade.The paper states the definition,basic cause and performance of GTBs on the basis of the theories of GTBs and the previous study.Then it introduces and analyzes the GTBs system of the countries and locations included Japan,The US and EU where we face the most GTBs.At the same time it also points out the domestic and foreign reasons that the export of our primary products often suffers Green barriers.Later, using Gravity Model,we make empirical analysis on the degree of the three locations' (Japan EU and The US) GTBs influence on the selected representative agricultural products after studying the situation of GTBs affecting Specific agricultural products. Lastly,on the basis of empirical analysis results,it makes suggestions on our agricultural products overcoming GTBs from aspects of governments,industry associations and corporations.
