As the Knowledge-Economic times come,High-tech companies are playing a more and more important role in a country's economy.In fact,the competition of companies is the competition of human resources.At the same time,The Knowledge workers are the most valuable human resources in High-tech companies,they are the core resources of companies,and key of the source of technological innovation and development.The performance evaluation of those people is not only related to their compensation,position change,promotion and demotion,prize and punishment,but also determine the company's rise and fall.But the overall level of performance management in High-tech companies is still low,particularly for technical knowledge workers.The performance management system has not yet been established.There are a lot of problems in the performance management of Knowledge workers.The next part deeply analyses the characteristics of knowledge workers,constructs a new performance management system which is much suitable for them.Finally,through the empirical analysis of company X,the paper dissects current situation of performance management in company X,and then post the recommendations of optimization.
