The Comparison And Research On Theme Park Clusters Between OCT And Chimelong Group

Since the Zhongshan Changjiang Park was established in 1982,the theme parks in Guangdong Province developed fastly,especially "Splendid China" was founded in 1989 in Shenzhen,which symbolized the start of true theme park in China.After that,the theme parks sprang up in Guangdong Province as well as in the whole country.However,many years later, some of these theme parks were closed down because of imitation and lack of feature.Yet still some theme parks can developed quickly and soon become the leader of Guangdong theme park market.OCT and Chimelong Group are the representatives.On the basis of theme park clusters of two groups and based on industrial clusters theory, competition advantage theory and location theory,the thesis compares the theme park clusters between OCT and Chimelong for better understanding research objects.On the survey phase, throughing designing questionnaires to get the first-hand materials for the comparison research.Lastly,according to the results of theme park comprehensive competitiveness analysis,the thesis brings forward the new measures to improve comprehensive competitiveness level of both theme park clusters from market competitiveness,brand competitiveness and continuous competitiveness aspects.
