In recent years,Knowledge-based employees are the most important "Assets" of a company in this industry whose contribution is the crucial factor for a company's success or failure,the competition in the book publishing industry has become more and more fierce and talents are the core competitive power.After China entered WTO,foreign publishing companies have given favorable treatments to recruit native talents,so that the outflow of knowledge-based employees in the publishing industry has become more and more serious which results in a very heavy blow. Therefore it's very urgent and of great significance to establish the incentive mechanism to attract and remain the knowledge-based employees.With regards to the literature researches,interviews as well as the open-end surveys,this study has investigated 140 employees with the primary questionnaire.By using the method of exploratory factor analysis,it has explored the incentive factors of knowledge-based employee in the book publishing industry of Guangdong Province for the first time which found out that there are five elements in this aspect,namely,welfare,ascription and respect,the prospect of the company,self-development as well as work independence and finally formed the formal questionnaire.And more than 156 employees were investigated using the method of analysis of variance,which has found out that there are significant differences in the incentive factors which stems from the length of the work of different employees.There are rare studies on the incentive of employee of book publishing industry,based on the theoretical research and practice and makes up the blank of the incentive theory study of knowledge-base employee in our book publishing industry and meanwhile provides countable support for the practice of the establishment of incentive mechanism in this industry.
