At present,speeding up the urbanization process in the world,especially developing countries,more rapid pace of urbanization.The essence of the urbanization process is the urbanizatio of the employment structure,so no doubt the rapid urbanization will has a great significance for the expansion of urban employment and the whole community employment.But the whole urbanization,especially the practice of urbanization and employment of developing countries(including China),it is not difficult to find the acceleration of urbanization process has not brought a simultaneous increase in employment,the situation between urbanization and employment is the "high development,low employment ".Therefore,how to coordinate the positive interaction of urbanization and employment is the urgent problem that needs to address for our country.In this paper,drawing on the existing and mature practices and theories wielding home and abroad,using the city of Suzhou that has the exemplary role as an example, considering economic growth,employment flexibility,the industrial structure and the structure of employment,the writer tries to find the relationship between Suzhou urbanization and the employment.Then,base on statistieal analysis,the writer set up the regression function among the level of Suzhou urbanization,regional GDP,industrial structure and employment structure.Finally,in view of the existing problems,the author recommends that promoting the coordinated development of Suzhou urbanization and employment from optimizing the space layout,vigorously developing the tertiary industry, accelerating the establishment of a unified labor market of urban and rural areas,in order to provide inspiration for positive interaction and synchronous growth of urbanization and employment.
