Research Of Resources-based Cities Transition And Sustainable Development

Resources-based cities are developed with the exploitation and use of natural resources,which made a significant contribution to cities economic in the early stage. But with the passage of time Because of the unregenerate property of those resources .more and more cities have been resource exhaustion, as result of bring a series of problem such as single industry structure, difficulties finance ,environmental in local pollution and so on. The most effective measure which Solve the above problem is city structure transition. It is the inevitable choice for breaking away predicament Sustainable Development and maintaining social stability .therefore it's a significative research.In this paper ,at first we analyzes and summarize the conception ,definition,characteristic and the problem of the development. expatiating the related theory of city structure transition, the system of Sustainable Development, Transition mode, and such city instance of successful Transition in abroad and domestic. On the basis of theory research, we analyzes the example of Huaibei City in Anhui Province ,which a coal resource city economic characteristic, build the math model of coal resource city Transition, at the end of the paper provides countermeasures and recommendations.
