Research In Further Improving Of The Yangtze River Delta Innovation System

In today's world, along with the surging wave of economic globalization, the new revolution in science and technology by leaps and bounds, knowledge and technology is becoming an increasingly important economic factor. Socio-economic pattern of the world is pregnant with new major changes, restructuring and break through. A small number of developed countries is to occupy the world market position by virtue of its strong economic strength and scientific and technological advantages. Many countries put strengthening scientific and technological innovation as the most important national strategies, and put enhancing the capacity of scientific and technological innovation as a mean to promote sustainable economic development, keep social harmony and stability and alleviate ecological crisis. They see investment in science and technology as a strategic investment, and also deploy and develop the cutting-edge technologies and strategic industries ahead, implement the major scientific and technological plans to focus on the strengthening of national innovation capability and international competitiveness.Since reform and opening up, especially since the start of the 21st century, China is facing a rare historical opportunity for development of sustained and rapid economic growth, social harmony and development, the degree of integration into the world economy growing, the unprecedented increase in overall national strength. At the same time, China is of the great dilemma. Long-term economic growth are faced with excessive dependence on energy resources consumption, environmental pollution, weak ability of independent innovation, the economy quality and cost-effective which needs to be improved. Only closely relying on the scientific and technological progress and scientific and technological innovation can continue to speed up economic restructuring and changes of the economic growing pattern. Thus we can see comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable developing among economy, society, and environment.With Shanghai as the center, Yangtze River Delta is China's most essence place of the intensive of developed economy, population, industries, cities and wealth, and is also the China's most likely demonstration area and comprehensive well-off society, which has an important strategic position in Socio-economic development of the country. So deep study of the developing and improving of the Yangtze River Delta's regional innovation system, is not only of important academic significance to the enrichment and development of regional innovation theory, but also of great practical significance. It can effectively enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the Yangtze River Delta region, accelerate the regional integration process, and promote the smooth realization of the strategic objectives of the national regional development in Yangtze River Delta.Regional economy, industry clusters, three-screw theory and other modern innovation theory are core theories in this paper, with the comprehensive use of a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods and mapping technology such as literature analysis, field surveys, systems analysis, SPSS software analysis, and strategy analysis. Interpretation of the regional innovation theory has been done through the gathering of relevant research results home and abroad. This paper does analysis of problems, environmental conditions and constraints of the Yangtze River Delta's Regional Innovation on base of field research. And put forward measures to further enhance the realization of the Yangtze River Delta regional innovation ability.
