With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization, the transnational enterprises, cross-cultural exchanges of various kinds have become increasingly frequent, personnel from different cultural backgrounds growing cross-border exchanges; the emergence of a large number of multinational corporations makes the cultural background of the labor force growing trend in a pluralistic world before. With the background of the complicated globalization in the whole world, the cross-cultural management is what must to be done. China, as a developing country in the world, has been in the trade of the globalization and faced with the changeable world. How to learn and exercise the cross-cultural management and how to become the leading force in the relevant industry, are imminent affaires for Chinese enterprises.The first part of this paper is to explain the theory reason for Chinese enterprises to manage cross-cultural. Rooted from the identification of Culture, the theory reason is based on the different orientations and characteristics of culture, such as universality, diversity and dissemination. And the symbiotic relationship between culture and management makes the cultural have a through impact on enterprises' management. Only started from the Culture, we can have a fully understanding about cross-cultural management's identification and models. In the second part of this paper, we analysis the cultural differences in Chinese enterprises and American enterprises. We use the method Hofstede used in his studies, which is called the Four Dimensions, from five dimensions. They are power distance, avoid uncertainty, individualism and collectivism, femininity and masculinity, and long-term oriented and short-term oriented. Based on the theory and analysis all above, the second part of this composition focuses on the cross-cultural management of Chinese enterprises M & A. First, on the base of Chinese traditional culture, the managers in Chinese enterprises should pay more attention to three items in usual management. Second, according the successful case in American enterprises, Chinese managers also update some culture elements in their companies. And then four suggestions are raised for Chinese Enterprises' cross-cultural management as they are all of importance: "Tailor-made" is the basic principle of cross-cultural management for Chinese enterprises; Third-party involvement is an effective way to cross-cultural management of Chinese enterprises; "People-oriented" is enterprises starting point and foothold of a cross-cultural Chinese management; "Suit the remedy" is the most important way for cross-cultural management of Chinese enterprises. In this composition, many cross-cultural management cases in America enterprises are taken as examples to visualize the cross-cultural management for readers.And this paper is limited by writer's knowledge and the only hope is to raise those managers, who are handling the main affaires in a cross-cultural company, notification on the cultural problem.
