Gansu farmers in the Anti-Japanese War as a major economic study, mainly related to the Anti-Japanese War of Gansu farmer's land use, farm size, tenancy relations, farm management, farm income and expenditure, farm life and farm liability and so on. In this paper, reference from the existing methods of farm economic research, based on access to a large amount of raw data, the use of multi-disciplinary theories and methods, starting from the microscopic analysis , we have a more comprehensive understanding of the fanners economy in Gansu Province at that time: Gansu farmer's Anti-Japanese War of the concentration of land ownership depends on the environment and economic development. The more developed the economy and the environment better, the more concentrated land ownership, especially in lanzhou and the surrounding areas, land is more dispersed in other places, thus, farmers have a higher proportion in all walks of life in rural areas. Smaller family farms, low productivity, resulting in a waste of human resources, hampering the promotion of advanced technology. In order to make up the majority of the farmers of the lack of agricultural income, mostly a sideline to the family management, in the Gansu region, mostly in household sideline production-oriented animal husbandry, supplemented by other sectors. However, due to a variety of heavy taxes, resulting in many farmers had to rely on loan , liabilities is serious, and the people is very difficult to survive, resulting in a large number of farmers to flee , a lot of land was barren. This is because too many available for agriculture, and support to help less bring serious consequences. This is today's society for the development of the rural economy, agricultural policy implementation benefits, providing a strong proof.
