As one indispensable composition of China's catering culture system, the national catering culture resources of Xinjiang Uygur are very rich, varied and unique, it not only contains the traditional culture, but also includes the aesthetic, health, literature, history. It is a worth question to research of how to carry forward the Uighur catering culture, develop Touring Characteristic of XinJiang and expand the marketplace of national catering culture, drive the development of XinJiang tourist industry and catering. On the basis of existing research literature, this paper reviews the theory of the catering culture tourism resources development, defines the food culture and the cultural resources'concepts, analysis the Xinjiang Uygur geographical and social environment formation of catering culture, discusses the Uygur ethnic food culture from the main contents of the material and spiritual aspects, confirms the characteristics of Uygur catering cultural resources, stands on a basis theory of tourism resources development, estimates the Uygur ethnic catering cultural resources, analyzes the tourism development environment and market conditions of Uighur catering cultural resources, in the end of the paper, addresses the resource development principle, product development strategy, and proposes a bold hypothesis of the Uighur catering culture.
