Logistics Center Location Research Based On Yibin

Development of economy and popularization of information technology promote modern logistics develop quickly and deeply.For enterprises,the logistics capacity is considered one of its core competencies,and has become a strategic competitive advantage of the resources.For a economic region,the operational efficiency of logistics not only decides the economic competitiveness of a region,but also ensures its sustainable development.In the theory of logistics-related research,the logistics center location has been a hot issue.Because whether the location of logistics center is appropriate or not will directly determine operational efficiency of logistics center and its role in future economic development.Suitable location of the logistics center is one of the important factors to reduce costs and improve efficiency.This dissertation summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars on the location of the research,points out the defects and makes improvement.At last,takes Yibin in Sichuan Province as an example,adapts improved location model,and compares the results with the results using other methods. The first section analyzes research background,explains the significance of research,summarizes the research about relevant domestic and international logistics center location,points out that the existing problems and describes the content of this dissertation.The second section introduces the concept and classification of logistics centers,the significance and principles of the center location,as well as analyzes the major factor affecting logistics center location and the goal in the selection process should be to achieve,and brings up the normal steps of logistics center location.The third section analyzes geographical environment and economic development of Yibin and demonstrates the necessity of the establishment of a logistics center,and the demand of the current logistics through survey of manufacturing,mining companies and professional market in Yibin.Finally, forecasts the future demand and distribution of logistics using L-OD logistics demand forecasting methods and lays a foundation for future research.The fourth section discusses technology and model of the logistics center location,gives the scope of application of various models as well as the their advantages and disadvantages.Makes improvement of some models and applies improved model to the location of Yibin logistics center,and compares the results with the results from using other methods of location, confirms the advantage of improved model.The fifth section summarizes the research conclusion,gives the innovation and puts up wtih the further research orientation.
