As the world is turning from industrial society to information society by the rapid development of science,it has had the enormous influence to the manufacturing production mode,which has been basically complete the transition from Mass Production to Lean Production and Just-In-Time mode,and further to the Computer Integrated Manufacturing and the Agile Manufacturing,those changes is bound to promote the research and development of the facility layout.In this paper,by research and analysis the literature on facility layout and the existing facility layout technical both at home and abroad,to solve the initial layout by genetic algorithm combined with equipment nested thought,then establish a multi-objective evaluation system based on non-linear goal programming model to evaluate the layout.The main research work as follows:(1)For the characteristics of modern production systems,analysis the factors of production system by facolity layout knowledge,summarize the reseach methods of facility layout.(2)Combined with the equipment nested thought,classify and optimize the various operating units in production system,establish the mathematical model in which material handling cost as the objective function by improved genetic algorithm, identify constraints,genetic algorithm parameters to obtain the facility layout;(3)Establish non-linear goal programming-based multi-objective evaluation system,determine the target factors and the weight of the target factors,then finish the facility layout evaluation;(4)Develop a Human-computer interaction-based computer-aided facility layout by Delphi language and Microsoft Access database;(5)Combined with examples of the facility layout in production system to verify and analysis the results.
