With the promotion of domestic policies in recent years,the capacity of global electronic manufacturing services industry has been shifting to mainland China,the market demand of China’s EMS enterprises has been growing.In order to meet the growing market demand,EMS enterprises continue to expand the scale of production.Compared with high cost and long cycle methods such as building or expanding factories,optimizing the layout of existing facilities is relatively easier to implement and takes less time.Moreover,EMS enterprises are characterized by a wide variety of products and large fluctuations in product demand,which leads to the dynamic and volatile production plan.How to make the layout planning of enterprise facilities respond quickly to the dynamic and volatile production plan is one of the key factors for the sustainable development of enterprises.For this reason,this thesis takes an EMS enterprise—L Company as the research object in order to optimize the layout of L Company production shop facilities.Based on the research status and related theories at home and abroad,firstly,the factors affecting the facility layout of EMS enterprises are analyzed.On this basis,the paper analyzes the current situation of L company’s demand characteristics,production characteristics,production processes,facility layout,and the existing problems in the facility layout of L company’s production workshop,including the high logistics handling cost of workshop,the roundabout and overlapping logistics routes of workshop,and the non-logistics factors not considered in the facility layout of workshop.Based on the above research,considering the constraints such as spacing constraints,boundary constraints and rearrangement constraints,a multi-objective dynamic facility layout optimization model for production workshop of L Company was constructed,which took material handling costs,facility rearrangement costs and non-logistics relations as optimization objectives.Then,according to the comparative analysis of facility layout algorithm,genetic algorithm was selected to solve the dynamic facility layout optimization model of production workshop of L Company.Finally,in order to verify the superiority and applicability of dynamic facility layout optimization,the dynamic and static facility layout optimization schemes are compared and analyzed.The comparative analysis results show that: for the reduction of logistics cost,the dynamic facility layout optimization scheme has more advantages,which reduces the logistics cost by 20.36%.However,for the improvement of non-logistic relation value,the static facility layout optimization scheme is more superior,which increases the non-logistic relation value by 58.53%.The changes of dynamic and static facility layout schemes under different objective weights are discussed.The results show that dynamic facility layout optimization is more advantageous to reduce logistics costs,while for the improvement of non-logistics relationship values,it is necessary to choose dynamic or static facility layout optimization schemes according to the actual situation of the workshop.Based on the above research,the reasonable suggestions of plant facility layout were put forward.
