Research On Evaluation Criteria System Of Corporate Social Responsibility In China

As economic globalization and social development,scholars,managers,shareholders and other peoples from different countries are paying more attention to corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a core hot question.The theory and Practice of CSR are performing more and more visible effect.In the Process of reform and opening to outside,China has to engage into the international rules,and Chinese companies have to obey international principia and regulations.What is corporate social responsibility on earth? Why we emphasize corporate social responsibility?What is the content of corporate social responsibility?If there is some rationality in corporate social responsibility,what we should do to promote the companies to assume the corporate social responsibility?And how to set up standards to evaluate the extent of CSR which the company should assume?All these questions need to be answered.Firstly the paper summerizes and reviews the homeland and foreign research condition and fruit of CSR and the evaluation of CSR .Then the paper ascertains the connotation and content of CSR for Chinese enterprises.The content of CSR includes the responsibility to investor ,labour,customer,environment and other stakeholders. And the paper analyses the history and current situation about Chinese enterprises bearing CSR,especially it also summerizes the up-to-date Chinese development in 2008 in the field of CSR.At last the paper sets up the evaluation index system of CSR for Chinese enterprise by drawing lessons from SA8000 and combining China's actual conditions.
