Since the historical reason that supplies run short,the wholesale industry in our country is always thought the vital section.And because the wholesale control the production enterprise and terminal saling,its influence beyond the retail more.So for a long time the foreign capital had been always forbidden to go into the wholesale business in China.Under the protection,state own three-grades wholesale system had been established in China.But since the end of 1980's,the wholesale had been influenced by the market economy.Various enterprises enter wholesales,That lead to the wholesale industry face challenge from production and retail.The wholesale industry become very weak.Even though some people said the wholesale is no use.Now the worse thing is that our wholesales will face the contest of foreign corporation,since China join the WTO.But our wholesale is very weak,the circulation channel of China may be destroyed by foreign wholesale corporations.So the innovation of wholesale industry must be done immediately.In order to improve our wholesale industry and increase its power for competition,the government has adopted some measures,but many of those are invalid.This paper analysiz the problems in wholesale of our country,and give some suggestions from several aspects,such as system reform,innovation for wholesale function,customer relationship management,take modern management technology,and so on.Especially for the supply chain management,that will be a very efficient method for wholesale.
