With the economic globalization and knowledge economy era's coming,the trend of borderless business is more obvious. The competition in the market has shown a clear international integration。At the same time, users demand more prominent personalities, leading to the increasing of uncertainty. The competition of enterprises has been gradually transformed into the competition of supply chain. As an important management of enterprises supply chains, supplier management is how to use the supply chain ideas, techniques and methods to strengthen and improve the supplier's management. In the convergence of internal and external market, value-added realization has become a key to enhance competitiveness and to win a competitive advantage.In this paper, as an example to KGS companies, the supplier management problems are analyzed by the theory of supply chain and supplier management. It put forward the corresponding measures of improvement from the KGS's supplier management work, day-to- day management, cooperative relations management and risk management. The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the basic concepts of supplier management through the comparison of traditional and modern supplier management. It introduces modern supplier management development in the near future. The scientific assessment of the relationship between suppliers and enterprises is a trend in the supplier management. We should implement different management strategies because of the different suppliers.By introducing KGS's overview and the status quo in supplier management, this chapter analyzes the main problems in supplier management, and points out that to strengthen the supplier management is necessary for KGS. Strengthening the supplier management can help companies to increase customer s'satisfaction and reduce the cost of mining. It can provide a stable product quality and a good supply of resources.The third chapter introduces KGS's implementation of specific content in day-to-day management. It discusses in depth how to improve day-to-day management from the quality control, delivery management performance management and incentives. This chapter discusses how to improve the management of suppliers and how to create a supplier quality assurance system. Through the analysis of the main issues of delivery management it put forward a Day-to-day implementation of specific strategies. And then it describes how to improve the scientific management and incentives.Based on classification methods of the supplier, Chapter IV emphasizes that enterprises should be in resource-limited condition conduct a focused provider management. It also describes the different approaches of supplier management and how to select a key supplier to create strategic alliances. Chapter V discusses KGS's supplier risk management, analyzes the company's current problems of supplier risk management. It provides four steps for description on strategic issues of reducing the risks.As a buyer and a participant in supplier management, through the paper, I wish it can provide a reference in supplier management to the related companies.
