Lean production system has been introducing into China for more than twenty years, which causes strong impact on China's enterprises manufacturing practice. It has played great importance on improving the domestic manufacturing management level. However, there is few people put this theory into the petroleum transportation sector in the domestic petroleum industry.Chang Qing Petroleum Corporation is a typical state-owned enterprises, which exists the common problem in manufacturing as the other state-owned enterprises do. Moreover, Chang Qing Petroleum Corporation has the problem of high cost with low output, for example, the high cost on safety of mining, and the inefficient field production management . Therefore, it calls for advanced production management. This thesis expatiates production management, lean production system theories, and petroleum company's production. It proceeds with Chang Qing Petroleum Corporation's production flow, using the lean production theory such as 6S and TPM to analyse the whole production process including position-operation method, field production management, equipment management, and production safety. Finally, the thesis puts forward the concrete optimized-production method on basis of lean production system.The thesis links theory with practice in explaining how modern production management and lean production system work for the production flow in the Chang Qing Petroleum Corporation.
