| As the main value of the creation of enterprises, R&D staff is indispensable resource in IT industry. In recent years, such issues as IT R&D staff turnover rate rising and the lack of high-level talent make the career management becoming a important topic .By the constantly changing in the current social environment and business environment, the traditional career management has been inadequate to satisfy the needs for staff development. Career management is a strategy process for the enterprises.The purpose of this paper is to research organization career management base on the competency and to analyze how to effectively carry out the activities of career management under the changing environment in IT companies. Hope that through this study, it's enable to identify the required superior characteristics of each position, to help employees clearly recognize that their own strengths and development of career, and through a series of career enterprise management activities to maintain dynamic matching of organization development requirements and the staff career development needs, and ultimately realize the maximal value of enterprises and employees.Chapter I introduce the background, purpose and methods of research, as well as the basic framework of the full text. Secondly, the thesis discusses and reviews the relevant theories, including competency-based theory and organizational career management theory. Chapter iii indicates the establishment of R&D competency model approach and the steps. Chapter IV describes how to carry out organizational career management basis on the competency model. And describe the specific career management strategy. Finally, the thesis analysis the specific implementation base on the competency by the case of Q company.Through this paper, I look forward to identify the characteristics of the key competencies of R&D staff in specific occupations and positions based on outstanding performance, and provide a new way of thinking and methods for today's career management. |
