Study On Urban Poverty And Governance In The Course Of Urbanization

Urbanization is a country or regional undergoing a transition from a natural economy to a commercial economy, it's the main symbol of progress of human society. Chongqing is the youngest municipalities directly under the Central Government. It is also an important city and center of the southwest region and the upper areas along the Yangtze River. In the recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization process , economic system restructuring and various socio-economic policy changes, especially state-owned and collective enterprises performance slumps even declaring bankrupt, the unemployed group of people taking the laid-off workers and jobless people as the core emerged quietly, Because of the wide resource,growing quantity and steeply influenced range, the poverty population in urban areas has been an outstanding issue in social development.The purpose of the present study to improve the living conditions for poor urban residents,Use social surveys in T community groups living in urban poverty first-hand information, analyses reasons the social consequence and the tendency that the problem brings. From a development perspective to solve the problem of urban poverty accumulated some experiences for other regions. It merged many writing ways such as document analysis, questionnaire investigation, referes to relevant research of domestic and international scholars about the city poverty problem, the author attempts to have a breakthrough and innovation on the poverty problem form government, individual, business and other social organization. Therefore, study will not only helping development of theoretical problem, and also practically it shows a light on coordinating macro-economy and stabilizing the whole society.This thesis is divided into 5 Chapters. The Chapter 1 an introduction, which gives out the dissertation's research background, Significance, method, and the train of thought after a brief summary situation on poverty issues. Plus that, it also points out the current research possible innovations and weaknesses of the dissertation. The Chapter 2 consults and absorbs theories in which we study the problem of poverty and regional economy in country and out of country, explains and analyses the problem of poverty, Including poverty theory, the reasons for the exploration of poverty and governance, to lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up researches by means of an introduction of results of researches into poverty problems. The Chapter 3 introduce T Communities Study on urban poor in general. includes poverty population of the composition and status of life, data collection and statistics. The Chapter 4 analyses reasons from macroscopic and microscopic factor and includes the social consequence and the tendency that the problem brings. Finally, The Chapter 5 is suggestions of alleviating the city poverty problem.
