Mostly innovation capabilities of nation depend on the capabilities of enterprises, while the innovation capabilities of enterprises depend on the technical innovation, the key point of which is to have a creative R&D group with great talents. Therefore, what the enterprises concerned is to hire R&D talents, to supervise R&D team, to arouse the effectiveness and innovation of R&D personnel and to arouse potential of R&D personnel largest.HUAWEI is one of the leading companies in the field of telecom equipment manufacture in china, as well as the outstanding representation of independent innovation. With the development in the past twenty years, HUAWEI has been being one enterprise with great international influence, and its products involve in each aspect of telecom; moreover in many fields its products have became the most advanced. Beginning with a products agent, HUAWEI can become one company, which has abilities to compete with global Top Enterprises of telecom such as Cisco, Lucent, Bell and Northern Telecom in the international market; the essential reasons are that HUAWEI owns the competitive products. Furthermore, it is because it has one extremely powerful R&D team that HUAWEI can develop competitive products in every field of telecom and owns the most quantity of patent appliances in china. Management Methods of R&D personnel in HUAWEI will be analyzed in this article, with the purposes of searching the successful factors in R&D personnel management and special management methods, and exploring general rules of enterprise R&D personnel management in theory, especially obtaining the guidelines for R&D personnel management among the enterprises of requirement of individual innovation.There are five parts in this article: Part one is to describe the background and purpose of the article research as well as subject significance; Part two is for characteristic and requirements of R&D personnel, saying that the effective management method of R&D personnel should based on its characteristics and requirements. Part three analyzed the detailed organization management mode, employment management mode, performance management mode, salary management mode, occupation developing management mode, etc. in HUAWEI R&D deportment; each section get the conclusion of factors of success in the management of R&D personnel by the way of contrast analysis. Part four is for summing up conclusion. In part five, it told the issues need to be improved or avoided in the future shortly.
