As the private enterprise, SITC Container line co., ltd.(hereinafter referred to as the SITC) always maintain prosperous and stable situation during the decades, and the scale of operation is extending step by step. SITC is now position as a leading private-owned corporation in container shipping industry in China. SITC ranked third in the container carriers in China. Not only that, SITC has been in the 33th place in the world rankings. In order to bring forward the development strategies of this company, This paper banded SITC s characteristic together with the status and future of the international ship market, using SWOT tool from all points to analyze the strength, weakness as well as opportunity and threat of SITC, in order to find out the develop strategy of SITC and the ways to carry out.The first part of this paper using the experience of SITC decades' development to analyze the company's inner and outer environment in the base of international container shipping industry, followed with the discussion of the company's current situation of the ship, cost and risk management from the point of business and administration. Finally, constitute the goals and development strategy of the enterprise bring forward the main work and methods to achieve the goals. Meanwhile, in response to the management bring out feasibility suggestions about how to reduce the working cost, how to maintain the core competence, how to purchase the profit efficiency. For example, established long-term partnership with other enterprises as well as ports, Maritime affairs colleges, financial institution, etc. We could make sure the suggestions would be good to the company's future development...
