Research On Urban Housing Security System Of China

In the half years of 1998, Housing system has finished the historic transformation from traditional welfare to commodity. Urban resident began to purchase housing by the market channel. Because there exists market failure, it is difficult to satisfy the middle and lower income stratums'living problem in market. A lot of problems have appeared during the process, which request us to re-consider the system, and find the resolving ways.This article studies systematically the urban housing social security system in term of comparison analysis. On the background of the transitional economy, the paper regards the marketing economy as the starting point, and studies systematically the urban housing social security system on the basis of the existing theories. And summarizing the practices of urban housing social security system, using the beneficial theoretical and practical experience of urban housing social security system in Singapore and Hong Kong area of China as reference. Combing the current situation of urban housing social security system, the study puts forward some countermeasures for improving the urban housing social security system in China. The author hopes to offer theoretical foundation and reference for the establishment of urban housing social security system.The article consists of six parts. The first part is introduction which states in details the background, the significance, studying method, and some related summary of the article. Chapter 2 talks about some basic theories about the urban housing social security. Chapter 3 explains the operational pattern of urban housing social security and analyses its current situation and the problems existed. Chapter 4 summarizes experience of Singapore and Hong Kong area of China and gives enlightenment to Chinese mainland. Chapter 5 is the most important part of this article. Puts forward some countermeasures for the three systems. Chapter 6 is the conclusion, sums up the understanding of the urban housing system in order to build a more rational and effective urban housing security system as soon as possible.
