The Research On The Problems Of Urban Low And Middle-income Residents Housing Security In China

In recent years, with the housing price escalating, purchasing house makes residents shoulder a huge pressure. In order to resolve the housing problem of urban low and middle-income residents, the government has to build up a perfect housing social security system. The housing social security system may protect low and middle-income residents through the national income redistribution, and it will be an important part of the social security system. That resolving the urban low and middle-income residents housing problem, relates to the result of our country housing program reform, and it also relates to the exaltation of our country residents accommodation level. Therefore, it plays a significant role to the harmonious country construction.This text introduces related theories firstly: Including the filtration theory, the welfare economics theory and housing security theory, and presenting a realistic necessity of setting up the housing program. Then introduces the history of housing program in China, analyzes the supply system and the demand system of the current housing program. On the base of foregoing studies, the text reviews the housing program of Guangzhou city, and points out the problems of the affordable housing program and low rental housing program, and then find out the reasons for all the problems. The text introduces successful experiences of foreign countries housing program, and summarizes the experiences that can use for our country reference in constituting public housing policy and implementing housing security. In the end, the text makes some constructive suggestions for the public housing program.
