The Establishment And Empirical Analysis On The Evaluation Index System Of Zhejiang's Foreign Trade Competitiveness

This paper, based on the latest theoretical research of domestic and foreign scholars about foreign trade competitiveness and by constructing the evaluation index system of foreign trade competitiveness, makes a more systematic and in-depth empirical analysis to Zhejiang's foreign trade competitiveness issues from three aspects, namely foreign trade product, enterprises and industry competitiveness. On this basis, it puts forward the suggestions to improve Zhejiang's foreign trade competitiveness.Since the reform and opening up, Zhejiang's foreign trade development has made great achievements, and played a vital role in promoting the development of domestic and foreign trade. After 30-year construction, at present, Zhejiang Province has developed into a typical domestic trade and economic Province, but there is quite a gap from the goal to be a strong province of trade. The research for a breakthrough of Zhejiang's foreign trade competitiveness, and putting Zhejiang's foreign trade to a higher level, has an important realistic significance to Zhejiang's and even to the whole country's foreign trade development. And an important prerequisite to enhance the foreign trade level is the all-round, multi-level, detailed and comprehensive description and evaluation to the current situation of foreign trade development and operation. Based on these background conditions, this article makes a try on the analysis and evaluation of the level of Zhejiang's foreign trade competitiveness. Thus puts forward countermeasures on how to improve the competitiveness of Zhengjiang's foreign trade products, foreign trade enterprises and foreign trade industry.This article first looks at the relevant competitiveness theoretical approaches, and focuses on the WEF and the IMD international competitiveness evaluation index system's characteristics and the relative background knowledge that was used. Learning from this, the article constructs a new set of evaluation index system from three aspects of foreign trade competitiveness, enterprises competitiveness and industry competitiveness, with the systematic and practical features. On the stage of empirical study, this article, using The Analytic Hierarchy Process and the professional-scoring method, deals with weight setting in a more scientific way, and combined with Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation to describe in detail Zhejiang's foreign trade actuality and makes a in-deep analysis on this basis. On the base of status coming from the empirical analysis, it carries out a brief response analysis, and further extends the conclusions.Based on the above idea of writing, the full text can be divided into six parts. The first part is foreword. It introduces the background and significance of choosing the title, the review articles at home and abroad, the structure and the idea. The second part is analysis about the actuality of the development of Zhejiang's foreign trade, which introduces the situation of Zhejiang's foreign trade since reform and the opening, including two parts of overall introduction and comparative analysis. The third and the fourth part are the basis of comprehensive evaluation. The third part mainly constructes the competitiveness evaluation index system of foreign trade, and the forth part introduces the comprehensive evaluation methods. The fifth part is the core of this paper. It evaluates Zhejiang's foreign trade competitiveness with evaluation assessment and methods, and made comprehensive conclusions. The last part is the conclusions and the measurements, which is the comment of the full text.The integration of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis is one of the bright spots and characteristics of this article. The full text uses various comparison means to enhance the depth and breadth of the theory. In theory explaining part, this paper takes the thought line of comparison and analysis. In establishing the trade competitiveness evaluation index system, it uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process. And the empirical analysis takes the way of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation.
