And industrial structure adjustment and optimization, for economic development of the northwest region where relatively backward depends primarily on the region's leading industries select and nurture. Therefore, research on the selection of leading industry has not only theoretical significance far-reaching consequences, but also important practical significance for the realization of the region's rapid economic development. the selection of leading industries to support the industry of Turpan region, are important components of its economic development strategy and industrial policy, which affects economic development of Turpan region directly, therefore it is an extremely important issue of economic development of Turpan region .This article is based on the theory of the industrial structure, in light of the resources of the Turpan region and its level of economic development,through the research of its resources and economic development ,analysis of the Turpan region the status quo and problems of industrial structure. Consider that the industrial restructuring in the region ajust slowly, the overall level of industrial structure is not high, the second industrial structure is single, internal structure is irrational,the tertiary industry is not high. Impeded the development of regional economy, need to be optimized. In this paper, combining the industrial policy theory and optimization theory, use of decision analysis methods, empirical analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis to study the Turpan region of the main way to optimize the industrial structure, and then through the empirical analysis of the Turpan region dominated industry selection. Based on the theory of Industrial policy, put forward the general ideas of industrial policy of Turpan area , also get some proposals and measures on the industrial development aimed at Turpan area of the national economy and social development and achieve optimal adjustment of industrial structure Tulufan brainstorming.
