The main purpose of the research is to know the overall situation of job burnout and job satisfaction of Hekou oil Production Company of the Victory Oil Field; to discuss the relationship of them and the impact of individual factors ; to find the countermeasures to reduce the job burnout and improve the job satisfaction.Research on job burnout in China started relatively late. However, it has been focused by more and more researchers nowadays. Under the historical background that innovation and adaptability to the rapid changes of the competitive environment are emphasized, and that living conditions of staff have been greatly improved, enterprises begin to pay attention to the feelings and quality of work and life of the staff during their internal management practice. Therefore, study on job burnout of the staff, influencing factors of job burnout, and the effect on job satisfactory degree by job burnout of the staffs in specific enterprise, can not only have the theoretical significance of enriching the related researches in China, but also have important practical guiding significance of the internal management of the enterprise for case studying.This paper used original questionnaire and self questionnaire, researched on the Hekou oil production company of the Victory Oil Field, surveyed on the overall situation among job burnout and job satisfaction of workers of oil Production Company and analyzed the survey data using software of SPSS 13.0. We get the following conclusion according the data analysis. 1. the overall job burnout value is 3.3522, indicating higher burnout; the value of emotional exhaustion is2.89, cynicism, 2.93, and lack of profession efficacy is 3.83;the overall job satisfaction value is 3.1875, showing medium satisfaction. 2. Individual attributes do affect job burnout and job satisfaction, but the extent turned to be different due to their differences of nature. 3. Job satisfaction has something to do with emotional exhaustion and cynicism except personal accomplishment.The thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter 1 serves as an introduction to this paper, and specifies the purposes and significance to the paper. Chapter 2 introduces the definitions and some theories related to job burnout and job satisfaction. Chapter 3 puts forward some designs and researches. Chapter 4 analyzes the statistics and researches hypothesis. Chapter 5 summarizes what we have investigated in the previous chapters, and concerns itself about some suggestions of managing methods. Chapter 6 attempts to describe what is likely to be done in the future in this research field.
