Henan province has been an important wheat production base and heartland forwheat breeding. The planting area, yield and contribution rate of wheat in Henan province has been at the first place in China, the planting area is about 1/4 of the total in China,total yield also about 1/4 of the total. and each year and processing of food products transferred about 300 million kg or so, has become the nation's largest wheat-producing areas. Taken the wheat production and development in Henan as thesubject,this dissertation analyzed status quo of wheat production in Henan,the potential of wheat production and development techniques.The competition power and wheat economy and its industrial restructuring were also explored as well.The necessary supportive technical systems and strategic measures foe wheat sustainable development were brought forward.The result of this research may have some instructive significance for wheat production and its industrialization in Henan both theoretically and practically.The main conclusions of this research lie in the following aspects:ⅠBased on the systematic analysis of wheat production practice,production features,types of wheat varieties,and the development trend in Henan form the founding of New Chian to 2007,the study assumed that there were 8 times of variety upgrading in the history of wheat production in Henan,and categorized the wheat production since the founding of new China into 9 stages and 4 types.It also pointed out that the sustainable development of wheat production in Henan should be based on the further development of the wheat production potentials.Ⅱthesis analyzed the characteristics of the development of wheat production in Henan Province, the main characteristics of species from two dollars to the diversification of the monopoly; quality by tendons to strong, medium and weak direction 3; the use of wheat varieties, the weak spring varieties declining proportion of the increase in semi-winter varieties, wheat breeders to aim high and stable yield from high-yield, high-quality, multi-resistance development; continuously improve production capacity; wheat varieties, the quality of the structure step by step optimization; continuously improve the scientific and technological content; typical high-yielding emerging; Wheat significantly improve the processing capacity.Ⅲanalysis of the thesis of sustainable development of wheat in Henan Province of the major constraints, namely, first, the high cost of wheat production, more efficiency is too low, local governments and farmers plant initiative is not high; two wheat production are land and water resources affected by the dual constraints , facing a severe test of sustainable development; three fields are weak infrastructure, the lower the contribution rate of science and technology; four are dispersed operations, the low level of large-scale production; Friday sales are out of line, the low level of industrialization, the product structure is irrational, the market competitiveness of bad.ⅣThe construction of technical and policy supportive system was pointed out.Thetechnical supportive system should be based on the breeding and popularization of fine varieties,the adoption of scientific planting techniques.Suggestions on the policy supportive were also made in terms of social,environmental,technical and trade protection aspects.It also pointed out that to increase the investment in agricultural production was an important guarantee for the wheat sustainable development in Henan.
