Study On Transfer System Of Urban External Passenger Transport Hub

An urban external passenger transport hub (UEPTH) is the key factor to realize the effective transfer of different transport modes, particularly to connect intra/inter passenger transport modes, therefore, an effective transfer system of UEPTH which can fulfill passengers' various travel demand is full of importance and significance to regional passenger transport system, urban passenger transport system and to reduce traffic jam.In this paper, the functions of UEPTH and its system framework are analyzed, which provide technical gist to describe transfer objective (capacity, structure, mobility and accessibility); the main four influence factors to transfer system of UEPTH which are passengers' behavior, system and policy, transport infrastructure and operation also have been studied, and they are been particular analyzed in this paper.Firstly, the mechanism of how passengers' behavior influence transfer system of UEPTH is been studied. In this paper, the normal mode of behavior, passengers' transport choice behavior and move behavior are studied one after another and the factors of passengers' characteristics also have been studied.Secondly, in order to forecast the travel demand of EPTH, the author presents the systematic study from the macroscopic and the microscopic views, and studied the forecast models and methods for the passengers of EPTH.Thirdly, the infrastructures, operation and organization of transport transfer system in UEPTH are studied in this paper. Focusing on the MRT and public transport, the joint pattern, station layout, operation and organization of different transport modes in transfer system of UEPTH are respectively studied, the optimization models and methods also have initiated. Furthermore, to organized all kinds of traffic well, the traffic organization methods are proposed; and to provide passengers better service, the methods of optimizing the information services in UEPTH are also been studied and initiated in this paper.Fourthly, the theories of how system and policy influence transfer system of UEPTH is been studied. The author analyzes the economic characteristics and exterior effects of UEPTH, and proposes two kinds of investment and financing of government-in-debt; the difficulties, key points and development tendency of transportation transformation to improve administration system is also been studied, so do the policies to ensure transfer system.Fifthly, in order to achieve the objective of transfer system in UEPTH, the criteria system of evaluating UEPTH is proposed, and the AHP method for evaluating transfer system is also been designed.Finally, the author analyzes the designation of transfer system in New Shenzhen Railway Passenger Station according to the theories and methods which have been studied in this paper.
