Transportation of dangerous goods is highly risky and difficulty in management. Ministry of railway has payed much attention to the monitoring of transportation of dangerous goods. But nowaday management of railway station specialized for dangerous goods largely depends on experience. It's necessary to establish a sort of effective method of transportation safety evaluationIndex-system of comprehensive assessment on transportation safety of railway station specialized for dangerous goods and a method of fuzzy synthetic assessment based on Analytic Hierarchy Porcess(AHP) was introduced through research on the transportation safety status of railway station specialized for dangerous goods and safety engineering, system science, AHP and fuzzy synthetic evaluation. The method carried out effectively combination of qualitative evaluation and quantitative calculation.Innovation on data processing, membership function, compute of index weight and explanation of outcome were taken out based on thorough study on AHP, fuzzy synthetic evaluation and grey theory.Loading and unloading trucks in privative siding and industrial railway line occupies a large proportion of railway transportation of dangerous goods and it's a key-point of the monitoring of railway transportation of dangerous goods.
