Study On The Problems And Countermeasures For Renovation Of "Village-in-City" In The Urbanization Process

The existence of the village-in-city results from the fast urbanization process in China, it is a particular phenomenon in China with the obvious Chinese feature under the background of city and village Dual government system. At present, the conflicts in the reform process of village-in-city affect the harmonious development of the city,upgrading the functions of the city,improving the quality of people's life, and it becomes the important problem which deserves the common concern from city government,villagers in city,scholars and so on. These years, Nanchang City develops fast and well, the existence of the village-in-city which has been rounded by the city has greatly affected the further development of the city, the village-in-city is different from other modern community in city and embodies the common features in the primary phase of most cities' urbanization.Our study is based on the Nanchang city, based on the field investigation in some villages in Nanchang City, especially the "Yongxi Village in Nanchang City". we describe its phenomena of economy,society and the problems of social activities,social psychology and so on; analyze the evolvement process of related system and policy,the basic features,the cause of formation,the problems in reform process of village in the city ,and put forward the proper,effective countermeasures and advices for the reform of village-in-city. All of these can assist us to understand the phenomenon and problems of city in village deeply, as well as can offer the workable ways for the practice and policy of the reform of village-in-city in central China.
