Commercial concrete construction project belong to Commercial Concrete Company of Jinan Fourth Building Group. In the present paper, by using modern project management tools - Microsoft Project 2003 project management software, the project management theory and methods, the commercial concrete construction project, from the project work breakdown structure(WBS), the definition of project activities, the division of project responsibilities, the sequencing of project activities, the duration estimates of project activity, and the planning and optimization of project to the schedule control of project, was completed on schedule and the time—cost was achieved optimization according to the actual situation and the use of the Plan—track—adjust cycle.This paper is divided into six major parts:Chapter 1. Preface. The general situation of the commercial concrete construction project attached to Jinan Fourth Building Group, the backgroud and the purpose of the resarch to the preject, the framework, the main research contents, the research methods, and the innovation were mainly introduced.Chapter 2. The development of the research to project management, to project schedule planning and control, and the relevant theories , methods and content for project schedule planning and control were introduced.Chapter 3. Analysis of project activitiesThe definition of project activities. The project work breakdown structure (WBS) was resolved and each of the specific content of activities was specificed. The project organization and project team members were identified and the responsibility was distributed to each of them.The compositor of project activities. The logic of relations at different activities of the project implementation process was calrified .Estimated the duration of project activities. The most likely time of each activities were estimated.Chapter 4. Formulation of project planning. The project schedule planning was constituted by using Microsoft Project 2003 project management software and optimized with the requirements of the project schedule, and which in turn seting up a realistic project schedule planning , determining the start and end time for each operations, providing a baseline evaluation for monitoring the progress of the project, and providing a certain standard, specific documentation and reported form.Chapter 5. Control the project schedule planning. The deviation to the baseline schedule can be monitored according to the through supervision and corrective measures were adopted according to access the degree of deviation.Chapter 6. Conclusion. Through systematic use of project schedule planning and control theory and methods, complemented by project management software as well as the mathematical model, so the project can be completed in accordance with the progress of the benchmark plan, to the time - the cost of the optimal.Innovation of this article is:First, the system management idea was applied in the progress of the project planning, and the project control to analysize the impact factor of project schedule control.Second, the data model and project management software was successfully applified and project management level was improved.
