Research And Countermeasures To Enhance China's Competitiveness In Service Trade

Since 20th century the seventies, with the rapid development of information technology and economic globalization's accelerating, the global industrial structure has changed dramatically. Services and trade in services led the growth of a country's economy more and more obvious role. As the American economist Ron Shelp said: agriculture, extractive industries and manufacturing sectors are the economic development of bricks, while the services sector, they are put up in plaster adhesive. The service sector not only affects the countries in the upgrading of industrial structure, and other industry's international competitiveness, but also affects a country's overall economic development, the level and balance of international payments. Trade in services becomes one of the important indicators of a country's international competitiveness in economyIn recent years China's service industries are showing strong momentum of development. From 1990 to 2006, China's service export reached an average annual increase of 19.6 percent of high-speed, much higher than the 20th century 80's 11.1 percent, were 2.9 times of the United States in the same period, 2.6 times the United Kingdom, France' 8.3 times, Japan's 4.9 times, 1.9 times of Korea, 3.1 times of the world's average growth rate. However, China's service trade still faces many problems, size up the situation to study the competitiveness of China's service trade problem, the opening up of China's services sector, trade in services to enhance our country's overall competitiveness, optimizing our country's industrial structure and the continued implementation of the national economy development, is great practical significance.In this paper, the competitiveness of China's service trade status, as well as the causes of problem analysis and development of the service industry for the actual situation of China's service trade to enhance the competitiveness of the path selection to make a few suggestions. Article is divided into five parts. Preface first part of the current economic situation at home and abroad start to analyze the background of this article, and then combined with the competitiveness of China's service trade the actual situation of the study to clarify theoretical and practical significance.
