We studied the manager's leadership style and employee's regulatory focus and organizational commitment through investigating 357 employees. The results indicated that (1)the manager's transformational and transactional leadership style both related to employee's organizational commitment positively. (2)the employee's promotion focus related to affective commitment, ideal commitment and normative commitment positively, to economic commitment and opportunity commitment negatively. (3)the employee's prevention focus related to normative commitment positively, to economic commitment and opportunity commitment negatively. (4)the employee's promotion focus does not moderate the relationship between the manager's transformational leadership syle and employee's organizational commitment; the employee's prevention focus does not moderate the relationship between the manager's transactional leadership syle and employee's organizational commitment. |
