The Scientometrics Research Of Domestic And Abroad Economy Journals

Economics is one of the more active subjects in humanities and social science, which is mainly on the research of various economic activity, economic relations and economic behavior. It is very important and active for economics to explain economic phenomenon, solve the market failure, configure the resources, improve the economic efficiency, and serve the national policies for economic development. So government and many people pay close attention to economics, also more and more people find the important significance of economics to solve the social problem. Therefore, the domestic scholars how to grasp the economics status and focus at home and abroad, sort out the economics tread at home and abroad, identify the domestic development trends, and find the gap between home and abroad, in order to create more suitable theory to serve the national economics policies and the innovation-oriented country construction, which is an extremely important and quite practical issues.Selecting Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) part of the core economics journals literature between 1998-2007 as the research object, using bibliometrics and self-programming software based on Microsoft Visual Studio platform and existing software, in order to find the economics research status, main research direction, the main focus points at home and abroad from the perspective of key words and the academic papers.Through cluster analysis, multi-dimensional scaling analysis, co-citation analysis and other comparative analysis of the high frequency key words and cited reference of the literature at home and abroad, from the perspective of the literature to explore the same and differences of economics research status at home and abroad. It is found that financial economics is a hot research area at home and abroad, while foreign study contains the financial laws. A special feature of the domestic economics is rural, agriculture and farmer named as "three rural", while the macro-control, the endogenous economic growth, development economics are more consistent with the foreign research. Half of the high-frequency cited journals of the domestic economics literature are the SSCI high impact factors economics journals, which argues that domestic scholars focus on studying and accepting the foreign economics knowledge and relevant experience. But relative to the foreign economics wide range areas and the rapid speed of the renewal knowledge, the domestic research is mainly policy-oriented to service our socialism economic construction.
