As the trade economy developed continuously , the infrastruction and production capacity of the costal of China had rapidly developed. With the deeper the understood of the costal, Provinces set the goal"depend on coastal to develop province"one by one ,and increased investment what lead to ports aggregated around the coastal of China, and more competitive between them. So if we do not adjust strategy promptly to enhance the competitive of ports, it will be difficult to stand itself in the brutal market-competition. Therefore , in this paper,a comparative analysis has been conducts cornering the respective competitiveness in container transportation of China. The article choses ten ports in 2008 China,as a container transport study,on the premise of the ports′current state of development , By referring to a great deal of literature and expertise,a complete set of evaluation index for container transportation competitiveness was set up.The evaluation for container transportation competitiveness is acomplicated system. This article uses a decision-making analytical method based on fuzzy congruity theory.By using the fuzzy theory, some qualitativefactors are turned to quantitative factors. In actual use, sometimes the factorsare so many that the weighing coefficient is hard to define. So a multi-layermodel is adopted to improve the decision-making analytical method. When calculating the priority values,a method based on therelationship between fuzzy congruity matrix and priority is used to makesure the algorithm is scientific and feasible. With regard to much more time and energies have been devoted, classificatory methods adopted ,respective indies evaluating ten main ports in China. Based on positive analyses by applying the relevant model and comprehensive quantitative priority values, the final listiongs of the integrative competing ability of the ten ports concerned are made. In accordance with the integrative evaluation of every sub-system,the comprehensive performance of the international ports concerned in every sub-system has been analyzed. finally, corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for raising their respective competitiveness in container transportation are offered.
