As science and technology develop rapidly, global economic integrates, netizen scale expands, demands become diversified and the SMEs are trapped in deep troubles due to financial crisis, e-business initiatives have gained great attention thease days. As a new business model, e-business venture not only bring the low cost and high efficiency, but also it allows e-business start-ups to embed in a variety of business ecosystem, actively or passively, and gain a new competitive advantage. However, at present, China e-business initiatives are characterized by "grassroots", and the number of successful e-business ventures is limited. One important reason is that some ventures lack of network capability, which can help them make full use of a variety of resources and opportunities of e-business eco-systems.In the past, the network capacity research is based mostly on social networking, relationship management and resources theory. But with the rapid development of information technology, the interaction between enterprises is becoming in-depth, and enterprise network is evolving to the business ecosystem. Especially in the area of electronic commerce, multi-element, multi-lateral and multi-level e-commerce eco-system has been formed. There are coming out more and more behavior and patterns of e-commerce enterprises which a traditional enterprise network theory can not explain. Business Ecosystem theory, introducing ecological point of view into enterprise management, contributed new ideas to explain the above problems. This study, based on the business ecosystem perspective, explore the relationship between e-business venture network capability and entrepreneurial performance. Through the literature review, interviews research, case studies and empirical analysis, this study suggests that e-business venture network capability contains three dimensions: network adaptability, network occupancy capability and network cultivation capability: the factors impacting e-business venture network capability include enterprise IT maturity, the degree of communication structure integration and the level of network-oriented management: the relationship strength plays a negative regulation role when network occupancy capability influences the survival performance. At last, on the basis of research findings, this study provides a series of detailed business strategies and recommendations for e-business ventures. Compared with system level research, business ecosystem theory pays less attention to organizational level research. This study filled this deficiencies and also enriching the enterprise network capabilities and entrepreneurial fields of research.
