purpose:1. To understand the status and characteristics of the personality characteristics of employees and professional commitment.2. Using personality characteristics which is measured by QZPS to predict the professional commitment to employees.3. To analyze and discuss the correlation between professional commitment and personality of the enterprise staff.Methods:Select 318 employees nationwide for the study, the use of "QZPS" and "Occupational Commitment Scale" to investigate and the use of SPSS 13.0 and amos software for statistical analysis.Results:firstly, prepared by Professor Wang Dengfeng, "QZPS" has a good reliability and validity which is applied to measure the personality characteristics of employees; Secondly, the "Occupational Commitment Scale" has good reliability and validity, the total questionnaire, Cronbach a coefficient is 0.85, the dimension of the Cronbach a coefficient is between 0.76 and 0.83, an average score-of the employees' professional commitment is 45.74±6.68, emotional commitment, the cost of commitment, opportunities commitment, normative commitment, respectively, the average score is 12.96,10.06,12.36,10.36; Thirdly, results from the regression analysis: the significance of factors which influence the total vocational commitment of enterprise staff is followed by style,extroversion,the attitude towards the world and life and emotion, all of them could explain 13.9 percent variance of the vocational commitment; the significance of factors which influence the affective commitment of enterprise staff is followed by competence and style,all of them could explain 10.42 percent variance of the vocational commitment; the significance of factors which influence the normative commitment of enterprise staff is followed by the attitude towards world and life and human relationships,all of them could explain 10.42 percent variance of total vocational commitment. the significance of factors which influence the opportunities commitment of enterprise staff is followed by the competence, emotion, style, all of them could explain 12.1 percent variance of total vocational commitment.Conclusion:Firstly, there are significant gender and age differences in the personality characteristics of employees; Secondly, the professional commitment of employees and its total dimensions have significant difference among various demographic data; thirdly, employees of the professional commitment and personality characteristics have a significant correlation; fourthly, the regression Analysis results show that the style,extroversion,the attitude towards world and life and emotional can predict the total professional commitment; good interpersonal skills and competence can predict emotional commitment; the attitude towards world and life,good interpersonal relationships can predict normative commitment. the competence,emotion and style can predict opportunities commitment.
