With the development of domestic tourism and the rising income level of Chinese residents, the economy hotel came into being to meet the consumer demand of the mass accommodation. Economy hotel promptly gain the recognition of the consumer market as the type of this hotel in order to provide economical, safe, comfortable, and cost-effective guest room services as the focus. The local brand of economy hotel has been formed and continued to large-scale expansion, such as Home Inns, Jinjiang Inns, Sevendays Inns and Hanting Inns. The huge consumption of Chinese tourists as well as the industry structural imbalances of the current hotel accommodation, which makes economy hotel has a huge and deep space for development. It is an important evaluation factors to decide the hotel location for the operating efficiency after opening. And it will play a decisive role in management and development of the economy hotel in the future.In this paper, the research object is focus on the domestic economy chain hotels in China. First of all we analysis of background, significance and the relevance of economy hotel literature between domestic and international. Based on the concept definition of economy hotel, we take correlation analysis of types and characteristics of the economy hotel elements. We also conducted in-depth study on the choice of expansion mode, and the definition that exist in the focus areas in the current economy chain hotel. All of these have laid a theoretical basis for the subsequent chapters.Next we take in-depth analysis of characteristics and brand expansion strategy through the discussion of chain brands spatial layout and the development status of the economy hotel. Then build a set location model for the economy chain hotel. The market development department Economic chain hotel in the light of the company's strategic goals and the positioning of consumer source market, based on area selection--city selection—single point selection, to analyze the positioning of the economy chain hotel from the national macro-regional to a specific location. Determine various types of site elements of the appropriate hotel values through the application of AHP, then the practical constraints associated with conditions of the AHP and the combination of 0-1 integer programming model for site selection decision. After determining the appropriate property of the hotel brand, Hotel Development Department take consultations with property on the issues related to the uncertainty and project analysis, then make finalization of the feasibility of the investment.Finally, under the location model, we take empirical analysis to verify the feasibility of this theory, through the location problem arise when I internship in a economy hotel in the period of my graduate. With a view to provide a theory reference for help the current economy hotel development.
