Performance Of Agricultural Integration

China as a post-industrial country, agriculture supports industry during the entire process of industrialization, which made a very big gap between efficiency of agriculture and industry, resulting the dual structure of urban and rural with Chinese characteristics. To solve these problems, the most important method is to improve the efficiency of agriculture. Only when the gap of efficiency between agriculture and industry decreases to a certain stage, there will be foundation for harmonious society in China. Against this background, institutional innovation is the best choice to improve the efficiency of agriculture. Meanwhile, agricultural integration will be one of the most effective institutional innovations.On this basis of literature review, the thesis empirically analyzed status quo of agricultural integration with the aspect of purpose and process in Jiangxi province, comparing with Shandong province. Then, this paper measures the current level of agricultural integration in Jiangxi province with the method of principal component analysis. It was founded that, in recent years, especially after making the agricultural integration as the guiding policy of agricultural production, agricultural integration in Jiangxi province improved significantly, the gap is still obvious comparing with Shandong province et al.Secondly, this article analyzed the above status quo from the effectiveness more deeply. On the one hand, this paper established a classical model of agro-processing enterprise and peasant household, which proved the total profit of agricultural society improved after the agricultural integration. On the other hand, the paper tested the conclusion with cointegration analysis, Granger causality test and impulse response model. The result was that, the higher the level of agricultural integration, the higher the gross of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery production, the higher the standard of living for farmers. That demonstrated agricultural integration is the effective institutional innovation to improve the efficiency of agricultural production. Thirdly, on the influencing factors of the agricultural integration, the paper made an evolutionary game analysis for the reason of agricultural integration with the main participants in agricultural integration. It was found that the influencing factors for the implementation of agricultural integration mainly were the extra profits of agricultural integration, the cost of cooperation during the agricultural integration, the gross cost of participants and the discount factors between firms and households. It was found that, the more the extra profits of agricultural integration, the less the cost of cooperation during the agricultural integration, the gross cost of participants less than 1 and the more the discount factors between firms and households, the more possible implementation of agricultural integration.Finally, this thesis revealed the main conclusions, and put forward some suggestions to improve the level of agricultural integration, such as promoting reform of rural land management, making plans of agricultural integration combining with local advantages, and pay more attention to the quality of agricultural products and so on.
