With the process of world economic integration, enterprises are faced with complex and volatile business environment. The market competition has become fiercer, and the corporate competition lies in the competition for talent, especially in competition for those with high human capital. For modern enterprises, human resource is the primary resource for survival and development. Due to the immaturity of the core talent management, the fast developments of urban rail transport enterprises are effected by the fierce competition from foreign companies.This paper takes the rail transportation enterprise, S Corporations, for instance. It focuses on training and motivating enterprise core talents in following five parts.PartⅠ:First of all, by the rapid development of China's rail transport, the core talent is very important for the sustainable development of transportation equipment manufacturing enterprises.Then; the paper defines the three kinds of core talents for rail companies through the characteristics of core talent and the rail transport enterprisesPartⅡ:This paper researches and reviews domestic and international training management theory and motivation theory.PartⅢ:This paper describes the current general models and practices of core talent management in rail transportation enterprise by research on S Corporations. It also analysis the training and motivating enterprise core talents in S Corporation through the SWOT analysisPartⅣ:This paper puts forward the training system models and incentive program design for S Corporations on the base of domestic and foreign theory as well as the characteristics of rail transport enterprises.PartⅤ:The training system models and incentive program design for core talent are useful for core talent management in rail transport enterprise and other enterprises. Meanwhile, there is broad room for further study of the core talent training and motivation. Further study on this issue should be promising.
